Yogjakarta - Bupati Bangka, Mulkan SH MH meresmikan Rumah Singgah Kabupaten Bangka yang berada di Asrama Putra Ikatan Siswa Bangka (ISBA), di Jalan Ibu Ruswo, Kota Yogjakarta, Sabtu (12/2/2022)
Peresmian tersebut ditandai dengan penandatanganan prasasti dan pengguntingan pita. Selain itu juga dalam acara tersebut, Bupati memberikan SK pengelolaan ISBA kepada Pengurus, dan tidak lupa pula Bupati beserta rombongan meninjau bangunan tersebut.
Bupati Bangka Mulkan dalam sambutannya mengatakan bahwa terwujudnya renovasi dan pembangunan rumah singgah ini berkat dukungan semua pihak, dengan tujuan agar dapat mendorong generasi mudah lebih gigih belajar, dan lebih bersyukur melalui optimalisasi aset milik pemda khususnya di yogjakarta .
“Kami atas nama Pemerintah Kabupaten Bangka selaku kepala daerah mengucapkan Terima kasih atas dukungan dari semua pihak tentunya Pak Azhar beserta alumni-alumni yang ada di jogja ini. Yang telah memberi dukungan terutama terhadap bagaimana kita bersama-sama untuk menjaga dan mengoptimalkan terhadap aset-aset yang kita miliki khususnya yang ada di jogja.” ujar Mulkan.
Mulkan berharap dengan tersedianya tempat tinggal yang nyaman, mahasiswa Bangka lebih fokus dan bersemangat dalam menuntut ilmu sehingga dapat menyelesaikan studinya tepat waktu.
"Saya meminta kepada mahasiswa penghuni asrama ini untuk belajar, belajar, dan belajar. Jaga dan pelihara asrama ini agar bisa dimanfaatkan dalam jangka panjang. " Imbuhnya.
Sementara itu Ketua pelaksana Kamto dalam sambutannya mengatakan bahwa, Saat ini di ISBA Bangka terdapat 5 kamar singgah dan 10 kamar mandi serta satu mushola, Sehingga asrama ini sudah sangat bagus untuk di gunakan.
"Kami semua mengucapkan terima kasih atas kepedulian Bupati Bangka dan anggota DPRD Kabupaten Bangka dalam membangun asmara bagi anak anak bangka yang berkuliah di daerah jogja," tuturnya.
Turut hadir dalam acara pembukaan Ketua TP PKK Kabupaten Bangka, Yusmiati Mulkan, S.E., beberapa Camat dan wakil ketua DPRD Kab. Bangka, segenap Kepala Perangkat Daerah Pemkab Bangka, beserta tamu undangan lainnya.
