Cegah Luka Dekubitus, RSUD Beri Pelayanan Kasur Khusus

Sungailiat - Kasus dekubutus dapat terjadi akibat dari terlalu lamanya pasien berbaring atau duduk sehingga sel sel kulit akan rusak dan terjadi luka. Guna mencegah hal tersebut terjadi, RSUD Depati Bahrin Sungailiat telah menyediakan kasur khusus guna mencegah terjadinya luka dekubitus.
Kasur dekubitus tersebut berbentuk gelombang gelombang berisi tekanan udara yang dapat menyesuaikan bidang tubuh pasien. Sehingga tekanan yang diberikan pasien saat baring tersebar merata di permukaan kasur.
Direktur Umum RSUD Depati Bahrin, dr. Yogi Yamani menyampaikan saat ini pelayanan di Ruangan ICU telah menggunakan kasur dekubitus, Kamis (1/4/2021). Mengingat sejumlah pasien yang masuk ruangan ICU terkadang tak sadarkan diri.
"Alhamdulillah di ICU Rumah Sakit Umum Depati Bahrin kita sudah memiliki kasur dekubitus, karena tidak semua rumah sakit menyediakan kasur khusus ini. Harapan kita hanya untuk antisipasi dari segala kemungkinan terjadi," ujar Yogi.
Disamping telah disediakannya kasur dekubitus bagi pasien, para perawat juga dibekali dengan standar operasional prosedur terkait penanganan pasien di ICU. Hal tersebut guna mewujudkan pelayanan yang terbaik.
"Perawat ICU juga rutin melakukan asuhan keperawatan khusus sesuai SOP yang berlaku, seperti pemahaman terkait posisi baring atau duduk paling lama. Sehingga penangan tepat dapat selalu dilaksanakan," ujar Yogi.
Sepanjang tahun 2020, RSUD Depati Bahrin telah melayani lebih dari 350 pasien di ICU. Dari jumlah tersebut belum ditemukannya kasus dekubitus kecuali kondisi dekubitus yang dibawa pasien dari rumah sebelumnya.
