Sungailiat – Bupati Bangka Mulkan Membuka Kegiatan Pergerakan Cegah Stunting di Desa Lokus Stunting Desa Rebo Kecamatan Sungailiat bertempat di kantor Balai Desa Rebo Kecamatan Sungailiat, Rabu (8/3/2023).
stunting merupakan gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak akibat kekurangan gizi kronis dan infeksi berulang, yang ditandai dengan panjang atau tinggi badannya berada di bawah standar yang ditetapkan oleh menteri yang menyelenggarakan urusan pemerintahan di bidang kesehatan.
Bupati Bangka Mulkan dalam sambutannya mengatakan, stunting masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di indonesia, dalam rencana pembangunan jangka menengah nasional (rpjmn) ditetapkan target penurunan stunting nasional pada tahun 2024 sebesar 14%.
“hasil surveilans gizi melalui elektronik pencatatan dan pelaporan gizi berbasis masyarakat (eppgbm) prevalensi stunting balita di kabupaten bangka tahun 2021 sebesar 1,68% turun menjadi 1.34% pada tahun 2022, dengan 10 desa lokus stunting tahun 2023 yang harus difokuskan untuk di intervensi” Jelas Mulkan.
Berdasarkan hasil survei status gizi indonesia (ssgi) prevalensi stunting balita nasional mengalami penurunan dari 24.4% pada tahun 2021 menjadi 21.6% pada tahun 2022. meskipun menurun namun belum mencapai standar who dibawah 20% sehingga masih perlu langkah inovatif untuk menekan angka stunting.
Salah satu dari 5 (lima) pilar strategi nasional penurunan stunting adalah pilar kedua tentang kampanye nasional dan komunikasi perubahan perilaku yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman serta mendorong perubahan perilaku untuk mencegah stunting.
Kampanye nasional dan sosialisasi penurunan stunting perlu dilaksanakan berjenjang di daerah dengan memperhatikan keberagaman sosial budaya masyarakat dan bukti keberhasilan intervensi untuk mencegah dan menurunkan angka stunting. kampanye menggunakan materi komunikasi, informasi dan edukasi (KIE) dengan pesan yang sama secara nasional yang disampaikan melalui berbagai bentuk media komunikasi. institusi pendidikan dan keagamaan, organisasi masyarakat, profesi dan swasta.
Sementara itu Wakil Bupati Bangka Syahbudin, S.IP, M.Tr.IP yang menjadi salah satu narasumber mengatakan pencegahan stunting tahun 2023 harus nol atau zero dengan salah satunya dengan gizi seimbang.
“Stunting ini sangat penting dikarenakan visi 2045 penurunan stunting harus terus turun tahun 2024 Untuk itu, Pemerintah Kabupaten Bangka berkomitmen memberi dukungan terhadap kegiatan penurunan stunting dan berharap upaya penurunan stunting dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Selain itu juga diharapkan dapat memetakan analisis dan situasi terhadap stuntung ini” Ucap Syahbudin
