Mulkan : Ibu Hamil Harus Perhatikan Nutrisi

Sungailiat - Bupati Bangka menghimbau agar para ibu hamil dapat memperhatikan nutrisi pada kandungannya. Pemberian nutrisi yang cukup sejak 1000 hari kehidupan ini diharapkan dapat mencegah stunting pada anak saat proses tumbuh kembangnya nanti.
Demikian dikatakannya saat membuka kegiatan Nestle peduli gizi dalam rangka cegah stunting, Jum'at (21/01/22) di Gedung Sepintu Sudulang Sungailiat.
"Bukan hanya saat sudah lahiran saja, namun terhitung saat 1000 hari angka kehidupan anak kita para ibu harus mencukupi nutrisinya," imbuh Mulkan.
Menurut Mulkan, pemberian gizi memadai sangat berpengaruh besar apalagi pada bayi dalam usia kandungan yang dinilai sangat membutuhkannya.
Tercatat total ada 750 paket nutrisi berupa susu dan dua unit alat cuci tangan yang diberikan Nestle kepada Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Bangka.
"Terimakasih kepada semua pihak manajemen dari Nestle yang memberi support kepada anak-anak kita serta peduli akan pemberian gizi mereka dalam rangka memberantas angka stunting ini di Kabupaten Bangka," tuturnya.
Mulkan mengatakan hal ini merupakan bentuk sinergitas antara keduanya untuk berkomitmen dalam pemberantasan stunting di Bumi Sepintu Sedulang.
