Sungailiat - Bupati Bangka, Mulkan SH MH meneyerahkan sejumlah bantuan guna membantu proses pembangunan Masjid Baitul Makmur Jalan Laut Kelurahan Matras, Jum'at (19/3/2021). Dirinya memberikan semangat serta dukungan bagi seluruh pengurus masjid serta yayasan guna menyelesaikan pembangunan tempat ibadah tersebut.
"Terimakasih dengan telah berupayanya pembangunan masjid baitul makmur ini. Selain keinginan membangun kita juga harus memiliki jiwa optimis untuk menyelesaikannya, terlebih lagi untuk pembangunan tempat ibadah maka insyaallah akan dipermudah yang maha kuasa," ujar Mulkan.
Selain menyerahkan bantuan secara langsung dirinya juga menyampaikan kepada pengurus yayasan masjid untuk tidak segan dalam mengajukan bantuan kepada pemerintah. Tetapi tentunya melalui prosedur tahapan yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah.
"Setiap tahun kami memberikan tiga puluh hingga lima puluh milyar bantuan bagi tempat ibadah di delapan kecamatan Kabupaten Bangka. Maka silahkan ajukan ke pemerintah dan insyaallah akan kami kawal pengajuan tersebut," tambahnya.
Ketua Pengurus Masjid Baitul Makmur, Jawahir menyampaikan pembangunan masjid telah dimulai sejak tahun 2016. Dengan bermodalkan bantuan dari masyarakat sekitar serta para donatur, hingga saat ini pembangunan baru memasuki 40 persen.
"Kami berupaya membangun masjid ini sejak tahun 2016 silam dan hingga saat ini belum selesai. Terimakasih atas bantuan yang diserahkan hari ini dan besar harapan kami agar dapat melaksanakan serta dapat sholat berjama'ah secepat mungkin di masjid ini," harap Jawahir.
Penyerahan bantuan tersebut juga bertepatan dengan perayaan Isra' Mi'raj Nabi Muhammad tahun 1442 H di Masjid Baitul Makmur. Dengan mengundang penceramah yaitu Ketua Nahdatul Ulama Provinsi Bangka Belitung, KH. A. Jafar Shidiq untuk memberikan tausiyah.
