Peringatan Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional, Bupati Bangka Ajak Warga Sedekah Sampah

Sungailiat - Bupati Bangka Mulkan SH., MH Melauncing Tempat Sedekah Sampah dalam rangka memperingati Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional (HPSN) 2023, bertempat Masjid AL Husna Lingkungan Sidodadi, Kelurahan Sri Menanti, Minggu (19/02/2023).
Dengan mengusung tema "Tuntas Kelola Sampah Untuk Kesejahteraan Masyarakat" dan Peringatan Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional (HPSN) 2023 yang diperingati setiap 21 Februari, diharapkan salah satu upaya dalam mejaga kelestarian alam dan mewujudkan lingkungan hidup yang bersih serta nyaman bagi kehidupan.
Bupati Bangka mengatakan, salah satu masalah pengelolaan sampah yang sangat mendesak dan perlu dilakukan penanganan secara kontinu adalah masalah sejak di tingkat rumah tangga melalui pemilhan sampah.
"Dengan peringatan Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional dapat mendorong dan memotivasi masyarakat untuk mengelola sampah sehingga akan mempercepat terwujudnya Bangka Setara yang sehat, cerdas dan sejahtera," jelas Bupati
Bupati Bangka menambahkan "Pengelolaan sampah adalah kewajiban kita bersama sebagai penghasil sampah. Oleh karena itu, kita harus bertanggungjawab menjaga lingkungan agar tetap bersih dan sehat serta meningkatkan kerjasama dalam upaya untuk mengelolah sampah secara berkelanjutan." Harapnya
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Ismir Rachmaddinianto, S.STP menuturkan kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan komitmen pemerintah daerah terhadap pengelolaan sampah, mewujudkan kontribusi dan juga komitmen dari masyarakat terhadap pengolahan sampah.
"Ini merupakan suatu bentuk wujud nyata untuk masyarakat sidodadi untuk melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut dan kita harpakan juga dengan dilaksanakan di lingkungan sidodadi ini menjadi contoh untuk daerah lainya,"tuturnya
